3x magnifier question

I've decided to dip a toe into the magnifier waters. Holosun 3x on the way. Going on a new rifle. When I get everything set up I'm supposed to zero the Aimpoint at 50 yards first, then adjust the magnifier so the Aimpoint dot is centered, correct? Should I expect any further zeroing being necessary due to parallax shift?

Aimpoint zeroed and then follow the manuals directions of setting up the focus, then center the reticle in the magnifier. Should be good to go at that point.

Just confirm 0 with the magnifier before making any adjustments to it. 0 it like any other optic
