It is cheap, but if the description admits “you may have some squid (sic) rounds” Ill probably pay 3-4 cents for the usual suspects.

I completely agree with you, but at the same time I’d argue it’s priced correctly. It’s just under half the price of known quality Federal. Seems like a fair discount for poor quality. Again, I wouldn’t buy it to shoot personally, not worth my time or piece of mind.

I added some to my cart to check shpg & NC Tax, if charged. Saw "Bulk Fee Total: $9.95" ??? Bulk fee? That's a new one for me... So it's not 89.95; it's actually 99.90.

Still a low price, but tacking on 11% at checkout seems like a sleazy sales tactic.

For me, I have well over twice that many 22s on hand and will stick these in storage that might get shot in years to come if there every is another shortage. Plus I have never bought over 1000 rounds at one time.

That's CTD for you. I refuse to buy anything from them based on how they gouged during the last couple panics.

It says “a few squids”. If they don’t even know what a SQUIB is, plus the other grammatical errors, I’m gonna nope the heck out of that one

You did fine...great for revolvers and should be sub sonic for semis for those that care. Also good in bolt and single shots. It's not 1965 prices yet But it ain't 1965.

So you haven't forgiven them for the $100 AR magazine debacle during the craze?

After hammering a squib Remington ThunderTurd out of a rifle with a cleaning rod, I'm pretty much done with the ultra cheap .22 ammo. I'd rather stick to something with known quality control. Federal Automatch is more pricey, but its worth the cost if it saves a finger, eye, or a gun.

The market is free - they can charge what they want. But actions have consequences. They chose to gouge, so I choose to shop elsewhere.

If they apologized I missed it and would appreciate a heads up.

I bought a bunch of cheap, bulk packed back during the panic buy, I have since shot it up or gotten rid of it by various means. I was ready before the panic, I surely am now, people should be putting stuff back now so they can avoid stuff like this. Most shelves are and have been full for years now.

I just bought a case too but I did notice the disclaimer waaaay down at the bottom of the page before adding it to my cart.

"NOTE: This item is oversized or heavy and is subject to a "Bulk Fee". The fee will be added to your cart at checkout."

So I guess it's not secretly tacked onto your total, but they could have made it a little more obvious.

Thanks @Me. for the heads up..lookin out for the brothers and all that.
But I refuse to shoot that cheap stuff anymore. My time is more valuable than that.
Messin around with fte's, ftf's, stovepipes, jams, inaccurate, dirty, fooling around with the guns getting them back online...
And I have my own range out back! If I have a real problem all I have to do is come back to the house and repair or get another gun.
Be even worse if I hadta go somewhere to shoot like a lot of you.

We have lots of kids and ladies and they all like to shoot 22's. I've literally spent the majority of my shooting time correcting issues related to wrong/cheap 22 ammo. It's a buzz kill for everybody. Pretty hard to keep young-uns enthusiastic when the gun acts up constantly. I don't go there anymore.

I don't see any price being acceptable for ammo that says in its own sales listing that it's no good...
