So 4th of July is usually a big day for gun and gun accessory sales. With everything going on do you think there will be good sales on July 4th? The Memorial day sales were just ok IMHO. There was nothing being offered that moved the needle. Nothing like the sales earlier in the year like in Feb prior to COVID-19. It seems like ammo is settling back down a bit but it is still hard to get 9mm. Pistols seem to be moving up. AR15 parts are up and harder to find. Are retailers going to hold closer to MSRP or get back to discounts to keep the metal moving?

Thoughts?

I think there will be deals, though not as much variety like Memorial Day. I wouldn't count on ammo deals outside free shipping and maybe rebates.

I've already seen Lake City 55gr 5.56 for 35 cents a round / 1000 count with free shipping. There will be sales for July 4th.

I am thinking less about ammo vs rifles, handguns and accessories.

I'm seeing rifle and pistol ammo prices drifting down a little bit. .26/round for PMC 9mm, .37/round for PMC 5.56 at Ammunition Depot if you get a case of 1,000 rnds. Still not back to what we were looking at in January. Freedom Munitions had Browning 9mm at .248/round. As usual pretty much everything else I was interested in is sold out.
