.50 Cal Mossberg 500

Pretty stoked. Just found a mosseberg .50 cal conversion barrel for my old 500. I have been wanting one for a few years and stumbled on a brand new one in an open package at the pawn shop today. Anyone ever mess with one? Any load workups? It is a 1 in 36 twist 24" long. I just really like the utilitarian aspect of it. I realize that it probably won't group as well as my TC Encore Pro Hunter .50 did but I sold it due to lack of use. Now I have a cheap muzzle loader that I can mess with and it doesn't take up much room.

Barrel fit like a glove. Looking forward to shooting it and seeing how it does.

Are you sure about the twist? Midway still has the barrel listed and it says 1:24. I have yet to see a muzzleloader that didn't shoot very well with 90 gr Pyrodex or 777, a green sabot, and a 240 gr bullet.
