Anyone in WNC, east Tennessee or upstate know where I can buy 50lb sack of white corn that's pretty clean and not break the bank?

A quick search on FB Marketplace shows this in Brevard. Not sure if it’s exactly what you’re looking for.

Need copper tubing, as well?
Well of its free. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 no, me and dad was wanting to make our own cornmeal/grits. He's been looking at $200 electric cornmeal grinder, said his buddy has one and works great.

Haha! My FIL has one mounted on an old tiller frame, he uses it to make chicken feed. I’ll try to remember to post a pic later. I’m assuming your dad’s is restaurant grade or something.

Idk, ain't seen the one he's looking into, he eats a cake cornbread everyday, and we eat grits before we go hunting. He said he sure as heck ain't going to hand grind all he wants. Lol he mentioned it awhile back. If he doesn't get one soon, probably be a birthmas gift.

My cousin raises his own white corn for cornmeal and grits, about 2000 lbs a year. He has a 12" Meadows grist mill hooked up to a hit and miss engine and grinds his own. He is 85 now and currently in a nursing home. This past seasons corn has been gone through, shucked and removed any bad kernels, and still sitting on a trailer, he's normally finished grinding by now. I told his wife yesterday to let me know when, and I'll come over and get it shelled and then we can try to get it ground. He never sells any, but gives it away to friends and family and always donates to churches/organizations that do breakfast as fund raisers.

Here is shelling last year and grinding.

Are there any operational grist mills out near you? Several years ago, my cousin didn't get a decent crop of corn and bought a couple bags of yellow corn, from a grist mill that is open to the public, over in Alexander Co.

Just did a quick google search and found this place with 50lb bags for $89.99 plus $8.99 shipping (in Utah).

You might be able to find some closer.
