Well hindsight is 20/20 - blasting mat would have helped
 
I got it! Let's use the highway department to improvise a way to remove a whale.

I present to you exhibit A of those results, or "what the hell did you expect?!"

Nowadays, we would have a whole team of animal specialists who would hold hands around the carcass and protest the animals violent removal. The remains would still be there today with a plaque explaining how this poor animal died bc it choked on plastic from a six pack and nobody would help it get back into the ocean....sheesh
