6.5 creedmoor muzzle device experiences

Little bastard break
2nd this one especially for making tiny groups and longer ranges. It’s self timing (no washers and removal and replacement is easy peasy with it) and the I trust it’s bore as far as concentricity and alignment with the barrel’s bore more than less expensive ones. A muzzle device can hurt accuracy if it’s off a little with alignment even with no strike from uneven gassing at the brake’s crown (and the Little Bastard has a pseudo target crown).

Also run a 5 shot group before and after just to see what happens ... I’ve seen no-name Chinese brakes open up groups because of poorly machined tolerances.

I run a Little Bastard brake on mine also. It is easy to install/index and it works very well.

And from what I have heard around the local PRS matches, if you are not turned off by the price, the Area 419 Hellfire is supposed to be the bee's knees.

Lastly, if you wanna shop local with some good folks, Kahntrol Solutions in Reidsville makes an effective product as well. Plus, they support the local PRS matches and community and are usually generous to the local/regional PRS match prize tables.
