6Shooters Gun Shows is having a show at the National Guard Armory in East Flat Rock (Hendersonville area) this weekend. His shows tend to run around 100 tables with a higher percentage of guns and gun related merchandise than the average show anymore. $5 admission.

We will be up there to give it a try. Hoping some neat pieces come out of the hills for the show. Anyone else going?

Huh?! How have I not heard of this?

I’m taking a long range class tomorrow, I’ll try to swing by Sunday.

I'll be 700 miles away... would love to, though. My sister lives there. Mebbe next time, if your report is good!

Not sure. Usually, I would post earlier in the week, but I forgot.

The promoter is usually really good about advertising on the radio and having signs out. I think he spends more money on advertising than the big shows.

apparently, I don't get out much.

Worth going to?

For the $5 entry fee, probably worth it if you don't have anything else to do. Depends on what you are looking for. Not a huge number of really interesting S&Ws, but there are some - like a 3" Model 60 with adjustable sights. There are about 100 tables, so it is about 1/4 the size of Asheville. One dealer has a pretty decent deal on some police trade-in 870 Police Magnums. There are four or five FFLs, a few private sellers, a couple ammo dealers, a couple knife dealers, someone selling holsters/concealed carry purses/flavored peanuts, a Kydex holster dealer - not sure if I am leaving anyone out.

There were also a decent number of people walking around with guns today. For the size show, it was well attended.

Thanks! An 870 has been on my list for a while

I found a few small things, was impressed that the jerky/nuts/etc tables were very few in number. I saw the 870's as well, the prices were decent. Overall pretty good show for a small one, was well attended.
