8 shot Redhawk

I'll take one! Both the S&W 686PC and 327 are nice revolvers, but I'll take the 8-shot .357 Redhawk over either one. The 686PC has only a 7 round capacity, and the weight of either will not absorb the recoil of .357 Magnum as much as the Redhawk will. If you like the lighter S&W revolvers, then I tip my hat to you.

Not when I can get a S&W 327 for the same price and 20 ounces lighter.

I don't have a dog in the fight as I like the 327 PC. But new gun for new gun, the Ruger will be much cheaper.

I am interested in it; however, it's sort of chunky. I like a lot of revolvers but gravitate toward those suitable for concealed carry.

The Ruger has an MSRP over $1000. Even if it goes on the street for $850, that isn't much of a difference from the Smiths I have seen for less than $1000.

I would rather have the Smith for aesthetics. I think it looks better. But maybe I will get both.

Real world street price will be about $300 difference as of right now. It could always change though.

I think its a neat idea for sure, but I don't think I want one I already own a 7.5" redhawk in 44, and Its a big, heavy gun.

Now the 44 special GP 100? I feel a great need for one of those!

I would be more likely to consider it with a 4 inch barrel.
