What is the best 80% lower jig?

What is the difference between 80percentarms.com's jig and 80-lower.com's jig and 5d Tactical's jig.

The two 80 ones look identical....."Easy Jig gen 2"

School me in which jig is the best. I don't want a jig that is one and done. I want one that multiple uses could be had.

I have a "clam shell" type that I bought with some billet lowers. It worked great with them. I later bought some forged lowers and I had to modify the jig to work with them.
Next purchase of billet lowers and I had to modify the jig again.
That said, I like the looks of the 5D jig for that reason, that it indexes on known surfaces and not the sides of the lowers that can vary from manufacturer and style.
I am looking at buying the 5d jig myself.
There is a great how to video from @backwoodsshooter in the DIY section called Rolling my own that uses this jig.

I went with the 5D because of the top plate. The cutting bit come nowhere close to the top plate. It does does AR15/9.

All the gen 2 stuff pretty much accepts any brand lower these days.

I am gonna be buying a 308 conversion for mine and I’ll get that purchase 50% off since I did a review on the one I have

Plus they have a pretty awesome discount program. Plus if your a Vet they give 10% off also

All of it is straight forward watch through my video and you’ll get the idea.

Make sure you have the correct router or you’ll run into problems.

The best part is there is no fancy tools that need to be gotten. Palm Router, hand drill, and at least a 4” vise.

So if you have any questions or want to see something better for the 5D jig let me know. I can grab pics or a video

Get the lowest RPM routers you can..Drill out the top with a drill press, if your jig allows it. Go slow and use WD-40.

Endmill is not meant to be spun at 10k rpm on a router that is not rigided

Nice vid backwoods.

I'm still researching and from watching the 5D factory vid and your vid, I'm still kinda leaning towards the Easy jig Gen 2. I like the fact that it does AR9, AR 15, and the 308 AR-10 without having to buy anything else.

You can get the 5d that does all 3. The other reason I went for the 5D is because the side plate are thick. Thicker than the easy jig by double or more. This helps with keeping you drill bit from moving around too much when doing the safety and trigger pins.

Also the way it clamps in the vise is another plus for me lol

The easyjig pro side plate, are thinner and to help reduce the drill bit movement when drilling out the safety and trigger pins you have to buy the drill stabilizers when tack on another $30.

The 5D do it all ( ar15/9/308) with tool kit will run around 315 with free shipping.

Do a video review and get 50% off on your next order with them lol, a write up tutorial is 25% and a review is 10%. That is how I am funding my 308 conversion for it. Which the only difference between the AR15 and 308 for this jig is the front pin and back plate lol.

easy jig do it all, with tool kit, and stabilizers will be 310, not sure about shipping

So really you can't go wrong with either one lol. Just make sure that you get the correct router or cutting tool for the router you already have
