And I mean that in a good way.
Haven't had that many 9mm's in my resume. All of my adult caliber pistols seem to begin with a 4.

I picked up a PPQ in 5" recently and it's been a blast.
Maybe it's this particular gun, but I'm fairly confident I chose well too. I take forever when buying retail.

I only have 1 other nine. Version 1 of the LC9 with it's mile long trigger pull and somewhat snappish attitude. A fine machine for it's use as pocket carry, but it ain't a plinker.

I've seriously considered the Galloway. Still in the game.
But I'm more leaning towards a PPS M2 to replace it, or a new striker LC9 since I already got the holsters and stuff.

I had an LC9s Pro, and sold it. I'm not so sure I didn't like my Galloway enhanced trigger on my LC380 better (same beast as the LC9). I could never tell when the LC9s striker trigger was going to break.

No feel to it?
I haven't shot either the PPS or the new LC9. The PPS is really the one I like, but practical is the new LC9 since I'm outfitted for one.
Both get outstanding trigger reviews, especially the PPS.
The old LC9 has been fine. It hung up the first round on the ramp and since then it works great. No complaints with performance and it shoots poa. Of my carry rotation, this is the one I most often take so I shouldn't be sniveling.

Congrats on the PPQ 5"...you did good. Real good. Cant hardly go wrong with a PPQ. The 4's are sweet shooters and excellent edc options, but that 5" is just oh, so sweet killin paper at the range. Imho, it's one of the best out-of-the-box-lotsa-bang-for-your-buck-pistols out there.
As a matter of fact, Mrs Draco and I loved our PPQ's so much, we got rid of all the other strikers we owned (M&Pc, Shield, VP9, FNS9).
The only thing I didn't like about the Q's was the polymer dovetail protectors they call sights. Adequate for the range, I reckon, but I replaced them with some Meprolights on all our Q's. I like those soooo much better. I dont worry about ripping them off anymore when I practice one hand slide racking on the seam of my jeans.
As far as the PPS goes, this is where I would highly advise you to try before you buy. Admittedly, I have never handled the PPS M2, but the ones I have handled left a lot to be desired in the trigger department as compared to the Q's. Of course, ymmv, but it was a turn off for me and kept me from buying one. I really hope the M2's trigger is better. There's no reason it shouldn't be with what theyve accomplished with the triggers on the Q's.
Good luck in your hunt...

Thanks @draco88 for the feedback. This is really my first Walther so I'm learning.
I'm convinced that the polymers by large...they put the cheapie sights on to save coin. I think they're sure that half the customers will change them anyway.
The 5" will be a range only popper, and I have fiber optic sights on the way.
My hand seems to fall between the medium backstrap and the large. I like the rubber pachmayr grip sleeves so I'll try one here, hopefully it will give me that medium-large fit that I favor.
I put a high speed zev tech trigger on a G41. It breaks at around 2.5lbs and reset is immediate. The PPQ trigger is not that sensitive but it's the closest stock trigger I've used that comes close to the performance of the zev tech. I love it. I was hoping the new PPS M2 would mirror that...all the gun writers say it does. I'm gonna hafta try one.
