A Big Thank You

I want to give a big ol' Thank You to everyone behind the scenes that keeps this site running. Yesterday morning, I was lost without the forum. All I had to keep me busy was all the calls and text messages asking what was wrong with the forum. It seems that this place is an important part of many lives. It made me proud to get these messages.

I cannot remember the last time that we were down like yesterday. And, as it turns out, it was an Amazon problem. When we started his place, we wanted a forum that would run smoothly without problems. When I say we, I mean that the people that know this stuff knew what it took to have a good and dependable sit.

Me? I can't contribute anything. But, they can't fire me because I'm old they don't want any age discrimination suits on their hands. So, I will give a big thank you to staff, mods, members and everyone that makes this place great.

Many thanks to the behind the scenes guys that work on the site as well. There was mention on the forum FB page yesterday about some of the members getting together to help some of the staff get their yards mowed while they worked to get the outage resolved.

After roughly an hour attempting to log on, my nerves were shot. The old woman had me involuntary hospitalized. Not because the site was down, she's been wanting to do it for a while anyway.

But I do appreciate all you guys, this is basically the only place I come to while at the office when I don't want to work. The elderly need a place to go....
