Should I finish out a second 18" .308 rem 700 left handed action and keep it, or sale it here and use that cash for something else?

Is the completed one setup how you want it? If so I’d sell the other one and diversify

How does it group at 500 yards? Really curious and a bit intrigued with the 18" barrels.

Another wrong handed gunner here....

I picked up a Tikka T3x Tac A1 lefty a while back....holy smokes do I love this rifle. It took me a bit to get used to the stock, but once I did it quickly became my favorite.

The rifle in question is still in parts.

I think i am going to put it on the market when assembled .

The older 18" sister shoots .75-1.25 moa @ 1000yds if i do my part....

The 500yd line is a chip shot, bang, ding

I'd love to know more about the specifics of your set up.

I too struggle with this, as I own two .308 precision rifles, but one is a semi-auto, so they're not really the same beast. However, I do get the urge to sell one occasionally when I see something else I would like to have.

As of right now.

This is what i have.

  • A SPS .308 factory take off barrel in .308win that was cut, crowned and threaded at 18" from the bolt face.
  • Factory recoil lug
  • R700 SS lefty action with trigger
  • Factory R700 left SPS stock plastic
  • Factory bottom metal
What i an going to do to it to make it serviceable is glass bedd the action, cera coàat iti add a break and textrue the gripping area.

Nothing to great. Thinking of the upgrade to a MagPul bottom metal and i will add a 20moa base too
