I built 3 this size & color & another in dark brown. That's a ton of tack work. My design based off a mid 1800's trunk. Loosely based. The brown one had all iron hardware & small square nails for all the tack design. I used a film camera in those day & lost the pics to it. The iron trunk was absolutely stunning & I consider it the best piece I ever did. A lot of my early stuff all pics were lost or I just didn't take any.

I have a frame done for another of these & I'm gonna build it dark brown with iron furniture. It may be for sail.:D

I purposely never kept track of time on pieces like this. They were priced at 2500-2800 in the mid 90's. Around 4000 today. I think i could do 2 in a month.
