1979 Belgian made Browning 2000, 2 3/4" 12 ga. In my younger days, I shot a Remington 1100. Since I shoot lefty, the left side loading port is appealing. Someday I might make it up to modern standards.

I'm tryin' to ignore a Sweet Sixteen at a LGS... a bit overpriced, but not too bad. Might have to sell somethin' an get that one, too. :D

Left the B2000 with Mark Wagner to thread it for choke tubes... now I gotta figure out which tubes I want to purchase. I've only used Mod and Full.

Still have the Belgium 20 ga. A5 I bought off a friend in High School. Still in great condition. His Dad hustled pool for a living and won it in a game and they had no use for a shotgun. So everyone went away happy that day. Think I gave 350 for it back then, but in 1977, that was a bunch of money.

My uncle got a 2000 for deer hunting years ago. It came with a 3" barrel, but I was able to find a 2.75" barrel for it. It works well, but I think the person who designed the gas system was into some rather interesting drugs. I have it now and have shot it a good bit but prefer my A5 Brownings to the 2000 even though the 2000 has softer recoil.

Sell it to me, and double your money!

Last time I was in Wagram, Midsouth had 52 A5s in the rack.

That would be fun to see. I am however, not in the market at this time because the ones I got back in the '60's and '70's are still going strong and are still my go-to hunting shotguns unless I pull a Parker out of the safe. I have a friend who wants to drive up there soon, and I might have a moment of weakness.

Ya'll talkin' 'bout those High Falutin' Shotguns... A5s and Parkers... makin' my old Browning feel bad for bein' so Low Falutin'. :(

At least it isn't an 1100.

Anyone who has not been to see Phillip's shop needs to. You can hear about it for days but it's not like walking in and seeing it. I could spend hours in there.
