I don't post here much,so y'all may not know me.uj. i
Went to CMC NE at Concord on Wednesday 1/11/17 last week for a endoscopic ultrasound.Well,7 days later I am still here.
Seems that a biasopy of my pancreas set off a case of acute pancreatitis .Had this In October for 8 days then.
Thats what the endoscopy was for.
Bored to death and ready to get home.
I don't have a smart phone nor does the wife.Couldn't even keep up with you guys. Brother stopped by tonite and
left his tablet thingie.
Any how, say one for this country boy. Thanks, Doug
 
Good luck and hope you recover quickly, now just hope there are no updates since you can now get back online!
 
You got it. Hope you get well and out of the hospital soon. Hospitals are like funeral homes and courthouses....... they suck.

Opt for the sponge bath but skip the enema. And don't eat until you get home. Hospital food will kill you. Hope you are better soon, and your brother's thingy can handle all the abuse!

Got home today - Friday. Still some pain,but managing so far without pills.
Wrecks, broke bones,kidney stones, I have even had 3 heart attacks. None compare to the pain of a pissed off Pancreas .

I didn't want to come talk to yer wife a bout that JD that I wanted. :D

Good that you are home, Just one question though, after a hospital stay like that, have you met your deductible yet????

Funny thing was my deductible went up this year to $1000 and max out of pocket went to 3k. I'm sure I met this on the first day!
 
Thanks for the prayers X. Out of work this week until I go back to the Dr. for release.Kinda bumming around the house,not back to normal self yet.
 
Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. Still kicking, just not real high. I am back at work,Dr, released me last Thursday.Still don't know what caused first round.Said all else looks good.Tests showed no cancer on pancreas.That was my worry.May happen again,may not ever.I am hoping for the latter.
