Of all the wonderful aspects related to a good forum, I don't think there is anything more important than the simple gathering of folks to create and sustain a lasting bond between members.
I whole-heartedly encourage people to not only attend meet and greets when they arise, but also to raise your hands when people are asking for someone to step up and help run them. Just one note on that: if you do help create them, you won't have much time to actually shoot
So get out there, sign up and GO! The memories will last a lifetime and there's nothing like putting faces to the usernames. It really does become the difference between a forum that exists and a forum that lives.
