Anyone tried out the Aero Lahar suppressors yet? Prices seem extremely reasonable. I don't know much about suppressors in general and am considering doing the paperwork and purchasing my first. Primary use would probably be for a .300 blk in a shorter barrel. I don't shoot much so I doubt if it was decent quality and put on right that I'd shoot one out of service anytime soon. Logged into my PA account as a first responder and the price shows $351 shipped to FFL. Seems like a great cost to get into it right?

I've got the 30L in jail and my buddy @TRaGiK has the 30.

I'm considering a pair myself - a K to put on my PCC so I can direct thread it under a handguard, and the 30 to keep on my .300blk pistol where I could use the extra weight out front.

Just to follow up- VERY well built. Since I got the 'K' version (shortest), it is just 'hearing safe', not quiet. I now have it on my SBR and it does the work.

Do I like it? Uh.. I just bought the Lahar 30L this week. So, yes! What convinced me is that Pew Science reviewed the 30L and (you have to look for it, as it is supposed to be scientific) fawned over how good it was- quieter on a 5.56 than dedicated high-end 5.56 cans even though it's a 30-cal can. MrGNG also did a recent very favorable review.

Battlehawk Armory did a 'stupid-cheap' sale on them. The 30K for $299?! Yes. I bought the L for like 500.

Following up on the regular Lahar 30. Finally got them to the range today. Other than being heavy, they're a great little can. I had them on my 5.56 AR with the .30 caliber end cap. No gas to the face and a deep, quiet tone. From my end, they actually sounded quieter than the lighter but larger Omega 300 when I did a back to back on my .300blk pistol. They do heat up quickly and throw off a bad mirage in short order, so keep that in mind.
