What's a good aftermarket grip for the Taurus Model 44. I got the Hogue monogrip 66000 that said it would fit but it doesn't. I want a one piece grip, I don't like the 2 halves.

It’s going to be an issue because it has a square butt.

I don’t know of any one piece that fit that.

Hogue, Pachmayr are the only rubber grip companies I know of.

I prefer Hogue.

I prefer Hogue as well, as I've bought many a grip of theirs.

The only grips I put on any Revolver anymore are Pachmayr grippers.

I'll have to look if they make a one piece, I doubt it since the grip is so big at the bottom. Damn junk in the trunk revolver.

I’m certain they’re 2 piece. At best it’s split in the front and wraps around.

What I don't mind is the opening in the back but solid in the front for finger grooves. Like Hogue has for most semi autos

Could use a new set of grips for my 357 snubbie too, they're plastic and I don't like them

The pachmayrs I have I believe are the exact opposite. The split is in the front.
