Alamance County area meet up

I'd like to attend. However having knee surgery on the 24th. Probably wont be driving around by then. If it goes well maybe I can get in on round 2. Its a great idea.

Add me to the list please. If I can get loose I would volunteer to judge the BBQ. No charge :D

Alright, I've got a new PM going with the definites and maybes.

Intrested as well depending date and time.
Date is June 3rd and time is roughly 3 p.m. Let me know if I need to add you to the PM we have going.

Make my maybe as a no... Got something else that needs doing.
I've removed myself from the pm.

Hopefully next time.

That sucks. Hopefully this is successful enough to warrant a next time. We will try to make you jealous with pictures of good eats.

I'm just across the county line in the Peoples Republic of Orange. Provided I'm not stuck on call or at work, I'd be willing to participate.
Want me to add you to the PM thread we have going?

@thrillhill, @Bull Durham mentioned that we needed to invite you in case you missed the thread and aren't that far.

Sorry man, I would LOVE to come, but I have to work Saturdays. I am assuming it is a lunch time gig. If I'm wrong about that, feel free to put me in the pm group.

We were thinking about 3:00 til whenever people feel like leaving for the most part. I don't know how long most people plan on hanging around. We just wanted to throw the invite out there. We can make sure there is some 'cue left for you for sure if you felt like coming later.

Please remove me from the pm list, I will not be able to attend. Maybe next time.
I hate to hear that you can't make it. You will have yo remove yourself from the PM. There should be an option to "leave conversation."

@ChickenHawk

I'm in Alamance, hook me up with the details, if you will.
June 3rd at 3:00 in Burlington so.ewhat close to Elon University. If you want me to add you to the PM we have going let me know and I will.

Week of cookout bump. Trying to get final roll call for food amount.

I'll be there with a potato salad. When you have a head count let me know.

No problem. I'm looking forward to doing it again. I know I promised pictures, but I didn't get as many as I should have. I think @eddie0225 got some decent picture of the folks there. 4 butts, 2 pork chops, a butt load of chicken, some fantastic tater salad, some bangin cucumber salad, great salsa, and everything else made an awesome evening. Hosting you fine folks was the easy part.tmp_31619-20170603_094147184990620.jpg tmp_31619-20170603_13424236353796.jpg tmp_31619-20170603_134343756608476.jpg tmp_31619-20170603_1506591605836205.jpg tmp_31619-20170603_160641682433281.jpg

Glad everything worked out for you guys. I'm hoping to see some more pictures.

Glad to hear it was a success!

I won't "out" anyone else, but here's a shot of me that Eddie managed to finagle.

I'd post a pic but I don't recall posing for any. I was too busy mingling, meeting, and talking to some fine folks.
I really enjoyed meeting everybody at the get together. Next time Chicken tells ya he doesn't like peaches, well.......he ain't being totally honest!
P.S.- thank y'all for all of the sides and drinks and such that y'all brought. They made the meal!
P.P.S.- thanks to Flashpoint for offering to let me crash....uh, fly his drone. It was amazing to see that thing in action.

What a shady looking bunch of characters. ;) Looks like y'all had a good turn out and everyone was having a good time.
Apparently we were having a good enough time to forget about taking pictures.

Dang it Eddie! Ya didn't get my good side! I don't know whether that was BBQ stains or sweat on my shirt! Can't take me nowhere!
P.S.- thank you Sir for the goodies!
