I remembered as a kid, GrandMa using fat back to flavor her vittles but that was the extent of my knowledge of it. Well... one late night after a party at a buddies house in high school we ended up intoxicated and hungry ( imagine that...) and rummaging through his freezer and came across a pack of fat back. We sliced it and put it in the deep fryer and that night I found food heaven... I'll have to find a bag of that. Thanks!
