Alpha AKs coming to Amerika

Cool!

I find it interesting that they were sitting over calamari salads and red wine. Calamari is not kosher. Wonder if that is true, or if that line was just journalistic license. Not that that has anything to do with the OP. LOL

I just watched the video. I'm buying one when they are available. Now if SCAR 17s would get reasonable again. These two would go well together.

I have plenty of chosen friends who are non-kosher. Also, I stopped reading the article as soon as the author used the word "clip," but I'm excited nonetheless at another offering of the Avtomat. Wonder where CAA is at in the insufferable red tape process.

Israel is a very secular society, so it wouldn't surprise me if they were eating calamari, but I still wondered if it was just journalistic license.

I cringed at "clip," but still skimmed the article to read about the actual guns.

You're likely right considering it's The Daily Beast.

Bah, just more AKM/74 hybrid modernized crap. No one makes a nice Type-3 47 like PolyTech did.

Different strokes for different folks. Even the Russians have moved far past that old-school stuff, and those moves happened decades ago. Sure, I can buy a Type 3 parts kit for $6,000 on GunBroker (do you accept postdated checks?) ... but it's far more satisfying to me bringing eight different AKM variants and a thousand rounds of ammo to the range for the same price.

Probably won't buy an Alfa if/when it comes to market, but I for one welcome variety. Especially when some of those variants cost 10 times less than a pre-owned Camry.

Much want I have, yes.
