I thought it would be cool if everyone posted up what their rifles liked. And what they didn't. I think it will help some newbies like me :) please post rifle, ammo, and conditions it preformed best in.

I'll start.

Savage b22 fv-sr, BSA sweet 22 6x18x40
Aguila super extra 40gr. Best group was 1/2" at 50yds.
This rifle hates cci standard....

I will be testing eley club and target soon.

I just ammo-tested the 455 I shoot the most. I have been using whatever SK Std+ I can get, sometimes a few boxes at a time, but usually a few bricks. I compared 12 different rounds about a week ago, shooting 5 5 round groups with each at 50 yards, paying more attention to the last 3 groups of each since the lube changed for some of them, and ranked them by eye, no measuring (in groups, since I can't rank them 1-12):

Lapua Midas+, Eley Edge, Eley Club, Aguila Super Extra (SV)
CCI SV, CCI Green Tag, SK Rifle Match, SK Std+, Fed Gold Medal Target, Norma Tac-22, Eley Target
Rem 22 Target

These were all the subsonic rounds I happen to have around (other than Rem Subsonic, CCI Quiet, and the primer only Aguila Colibri). I have at least another dozen HV types but I didn't try those.

I will do this again after I pillar bed it, probably with more groups and a little more care. I will also get some more of the Club and Super Extra (SV, and note there is also Super Extra HV, one is red and one is blue on the box).

I didn't change scope at all, and the biggest surprise for me was that the group centers varied so much by ammo type, from dead on with the SK Std+ to an inch and a half high (Fed GM Tgt) to a quarter inch low (both CCI).

I have not tried any standard velocity in my CZ455 yet. This is something I need to do soon. Currently shooting Aguila super extra 1260fps very well at sight in of 50 yards and tight groups at 100 yards but in wind the ammo gets wild off target.

Are you asking which ammo groups the best (probably bolt), or which ammo cycles most reliably (semi)?

What every you want to post. I would like this to be a place that people can look and see what ammos worked best for different rifles. Say if cci mini mag works best in the 10/22 and sk works best in your cz. That type of thing.

CZ 452 Lux likes Wolf Match Target
CZ 452 Varmint is partial to SK Standard Plus
Marlin 39 Mountie does well with older lot of Winchester Dynapoint
I rarely shoot HV and have squirrel hunted with SV for many years...Both CZ's are sub MOA and will do dime size groups @ 50yds off the bench.

Reviving this thread to report some testing I've done recently during this break from the heat. I bought a selection of mid-grade 22 loads from Outdoor Limited in 50 round boxes, not the really expensive stuff but better than bulk. Here are the results in order of how well they shot in my CZ 455:

1) Fiocchi 22LR Official 300 Exacta Rifle Super Match 22SM30040gr LRN With a name like that it had better shoot well--it was the best and was also the most expensive at $8.99/50. I will probably spring for a brick of this.
2) Wolf Match Extra WPA22XTRA 40 gr LRN $7.49
3) SK Rifle Match (Lapua) 40gr LRN $7.99
4) SK Standard Plus (Lapua) 40gr LRN $5.45
5) Eley Club ELEY2100 40gr LRN $6.79 2,3,and 4 were very close. 1 was just a little better and 5 was not bueno

Everything I own functions and groups well with CCI SV, esp Marlin 60s. Only reason I own any HV is for hunting purposes, and some copper washed stuff for a bit more cleanliness in the wheelguns.

Ive competed in many forms of rifle and pistol competitions over the years and the most difficult was the 50 yard bench rest 22 cal. The reason why its so difficult is that the best performing ammo in quality rifles is subsonic. This means that the rifle is reacting to the recoil before the the bullet leaves the barrel. Its difficult to determine what ammo is best for your rifle until you have all the basics like a consistant rest, hand hold, trigger pull and a good quality scope with no parallax is so important in determining what ammo is best for your rifle. Cleaning of the bore is important between tests, then at least 10 bullets put thru the rifle before an accuracy test can be performed because of the difference in lube buildup will make a difference in your results.
Personally, after many tests. The Eley Black was my choice for comp day, the Wolf Match was close along with the SK match. Im not talking about accuracy, that I can change with a scope adjustment its the consistency from one shot to another that Im looking for. Consider temperature and humidity changes during your testing also.

@Lager I agree completely about the ammo test. Found that Eley match and Tenex worked best in my rifle. Tenex cost way to much for what I do though. I use Eley Target to practice and then Eley Match. I also liked Wolf, but found that after 5 to 10 it just was not consistent. Now my Stevens 416 X barrel loves Wolf.

Completely agree with you on the Wolf Ammo, its fine ammunition and I really didn't find any difference between that and the Eley Black.Think it was more of a psychological advantage I thought I had using the more expensive Eley for match day.
Thought since it costs a bit more , it had to be better. Since confidence is very important in any sport, I was going to take anything I could get. There did seem to be a few more flyers using the Wolf, you know those shots that stray 3/8 of an inch off ? But, it was probably me .....
That Stevens is a fine rifle, bet your happy with it.. My results came from the CZ 455 tacticool with a bedded receiver, Yo Dave trigger and lots of practice using many different brands of quality ammo at an indoor 100 yard range so wind had no bearing on my results.
