Spent tonight with this guy, Don Henley, Timothy B. Schmit, Vince Gill and Glenn Frey's son Deacon. If you have the chance, don't miss it!

One of the many funny things Joe Walsh said was...

"If I'd know I'd live this long, I would have written more songs".

Spent my evening with a bunch of rockers about my age. Per usual, the Foo Fighters brought the goods.View attachment 26567
saw them long time ago with rhcp - they were great.

dave grohl climbed out in crowd - one seat up and one seat right of me. i tried to turn around quick enough to see myself on big screen but that didnt work.

then some jackwagon lit a small fire with some trash laying on ground - cause you cant have nice things with people around.

but - great show.

My wife and I went to an Eagles concert back around 2002 or so in Greensboro. Joe Walsh was the star of the show and sounded as good as ever.

Deacon Frey was wearing his dad's jacket lettered with:

Eagles
Greensboro
Sold Out

Maybe it was a memento from the concert you went to.

Have you seen their history video on Netflix?

I haven't seen that on Netflix. I'll look for it next time we are watching something. That's pretty cool about the jacket Deacon was wearing.

We watched it a year or so ago and are re-watching it again now, following the concert. It is very long and very interesting. I found it again simply by searching for "Eagles".

Wheelchair rockers, they are the only ones that know how to do it anymore. King Crimson here next week. $100+ a ticket for decent seats. We already had tickets to a jazz show at NCSU. Wud liked to have seen KC but kinda glad Im not spending 200 plus buck to do it. For some reason my wife insists i take her with me to concerts.

My wife bought these tickets as "retribution" for a gun I bought. I didn't know she was doing it until she brought the tickets home. Had I known, Amex had a special pre-sale offer of better seats and goodies.
