Speaking of L. Ron Hubbard, I remembered back in the late 70s there was a big commercial push of advertisements on TV about Dianetics...which has it's roots way back in 1950.

I just googled it to refresh my memory on the subject and wouldn't you know...I came across something new I didn't know about.

Did you know that the Nation of Islam now practices Dianetics? Apparently as of 2010.

Had no idea! Pay attention and learn something new every day.

Define "locked".

Locked. Padlocked in our case. Was basically told that a locked gate extended the front door to the gate and could not be passed without a warrant. We once received a summons a deputy taped to that same gate.

Reason I asked is our entire yard ( 1/3 of an acre ) is fenced, 4 ft tall chain link, and goes across the entrance to our driveway at the street. We don't padlock it but we do keep the gate shut whether we're home or away with the latch closed.

Consider a padlock and No Tresspassing signs. Posting your property also gives you better leverage if something happens on your property. We had a idle property that was having a problem with vagrants. The PD said if we posted the signs and signed a form, the could arrest people for us without us having to be present to file a complaint.
