This is Angel, a 11 year old Beagle, who has spent most of those years outside completely ignored. When we got her a couple months ago, she was heart worm positive. We have gotten her treatment for that, and now she can live out her best days in the comforts of a warm house, with a big senior sister of the Bully kind, lol. Now I have two 11 year old seniors, haha. IMG_20190205_154816_943.jpeg20190207_160556.jpeg

That's great what you're doing.

Thanks guys. We try and help out when we can, and we have a soft spot for the seniors. She has settled in nicely here.

That's awesome for you and her!

You dun good! We have a senior lab as well. We got him when he was 9ish and now he is 12 or so. Angel looks comfy and contented like Grady looks sleeping on our couch!

Sweet puppy! Good on you, sir. We have a senior pup that we took in about 3 years ago when she was 9. Honestly, she thinks she is still 4!

She looks likes she's home. Absolutely heartbreaking to see an ignored dog's reaction to its first taste of love & affection. Our female Dachshund was 2 y/o when we picked her up from a breeder who was thinning her stock & while she was physically healthy, it was obvious she was livestock & had never been loved. She looked so scared & confused the first time I rubbed her tummy, but has long since become the princess & the most loyal, loving dog I've known.
