Another school shooting. Florida High School.

Anyone noticing a pattern that shootings and especially mass ones, as this one says at least 20 casualties (not necessarily fatalities) more often than not occur in "gun free zones"? What's up with that magic barrier? It keeps failing.

The police scanner just identified the suspect in the school shooting as Nicholas Cruise (or Cruz.) Ginger. Red hair. 5’8”. ROTC program. They’re getting a picture from students. Searching for him still.

I wonder when they report the number "injured" does this mean only victims shot or does it include anyone remotely injured during the event. Take Vegas for example. Reports say 58 dead, 851 injured. Most people see this and think he shot over 900 people that day. Does the 851 include injuries other than gunshot wounds? If so anyone that sought medical treatment for anything from a gunshot wound down to a scraped knee was included in this number. I'm not making light of anyone's injury or the terror they must have felt but when the media counts every scraped knee and sprained ankle as an injury related to a shooting it's easy to see they are just inflating numbers for shock value and to promote an agenda.

I suspect that this is a large part of why you're seeing humor in this thread. I seriously doubt anyone finds humor in the fact that students were hurt or killed, but they've about grown ill with the agenda being pushed and the double down by idiots demanding ineffective gun laws as the answer, while actively avoiding real security.

was real surprised to hear the superintendent being interviewed and commenting on the need for better mental health - but he did not mention of gun control.

its sad - that i actually find some sense of approval because he did NOT start the nra/guns/trump blame game. im sure its coming though.....
 
Instead of free damn breakfast and lunches (a lot to illegals) we need armed security. I mean this st is stupid. How many Vets need jobs? That video is horrifying. Tell my kids to screw the shelter in placs BS. Learn the martial art of Runfu via window.
 
As a parent event likes this tear my heart out. But as a Liberty loving American what angers me is that every time it happens they scream about Trump/Guns/NRA/White Racists. Its like watching someone shoot a dog and then blame the ASPCA because they keep saving those darn animals and keeping them around.
 
I just heard that it was so traumatic that reporter can't even imagine a teenager going through all of it.

The gunman 18yr old, in custody, off campus, reported he is former student at the school.
Multiple fatalities.

Two young girls, one described the situation, two female students dead in pool of blood
and one teacher, the other girl said four dead students. Both remained calm during their interview.

Sheriff can not enter until SWAT clears the facility.

Interesting that the shooter was taken alive. Suspect much more drama (at least from Media) to arise with this one.

Bits of coverage I picked up on Fox News Sirius.
Student says he attended alternative school with the shooter. Shooter showed him pictures of guns in a threatening way.
Shep Smith was working really hard not to blame the gun...yet
BUT he kept saying the shooter was on gun boards and gun chats and watched gun videos.
He also watched a YouTube Live bomb making video of some sort according to the news so the police went back into the school to search for explosives.
And finally my personal favorite they announced that there was a large group of students sitting between a publix and wal-mart and I'm thinking great, direct the shooter to a concentrated pool of targets. They did say there were armed guards but still keep all that off the air.

Re: patterns of these things I was wondering if there was any correlation to red state/blue state. My memory says more in blue states than red but I haven't researched it yet.

It's not a red/blue state thing it's a gun free zone thing. Has to be the stupidest policy in history.

The under 30 mass shooters tend to have many of the following in common:
1. psychoactive meds
2. somewhere on the autism spectrum
3. involuntarily celibate
4. socially uncalibrated (both #3 and #4 relate to #2)

This twat knuckle reporter for BBC is running off about our gun laws. Bitch, go be the good cuck you and everyone else in Europe are with all the immigrants coming in and stfu
