Effective Saturday, June 24th the IDPA Matches at Anthill will be held on the fourth Saturday of the month and will start at 10AM with signup around 9:15AM.

The 10AM start time allows them to get ahead of the afternoon summer heat, gives them time to setup prior to the match (Help with setup is always welcome), and gives out of town shooters a chance to make the match without having to leave so very early.

Anthill Range IDPA uses www.idpamatchsignup.com for your convenience in signing up and you receive a $5 discount on your match fee if you signup online.

Any questions contact David Honeycutt ([email protected]) or Don Comfort ([email protected]).

I think that I might just make the match, and possibly the (Fishy Fishy Cafe) meal afterwards....
If you shoot as good as you fence, I want to watch. :)

Good match and fantastic lunch at Fishy Fishy. Good food, good friends.
I'll second that.

I also didn't know you could have 100% humidity with the sun shining and no rain, but we saw it first in Bolivia, NC on Saturday June 24th, 2017.

Enjoyed the match, but unfortunately I had to miss lunch at Fishy Fishy. :(
When we got there, I said "Man, we forgot Blueridge, but then I remembered you already knew where we were eating."

We'll do it again.

Hey it's nice out now at 7:15pm where I'm at. Humidity has dropped to a much more tolerable level just below 90%. Down another 10% and my balls might even stop sweating.

That was one of my worst match performances in a while. The heat really got me, on stage 5 I got a procedure because when Lon told me to load and make ready, I didn't load to Division Capacity. I loaded my Barney mag and didn't top off.

I had Fishy-Fishy on my mind!

You can't get anything past Lon. When I caught a ride with him to lunch after the match the first thing he said after I got in was,
"Buckle your seatbelt."

I was so hot that at the buzzer I'd just point in the general direction of cardboard that may or may not have been on our actual stage and started blasting.
