Anti Seize

No personal experience, but Dennis Olthoff of Olthoff's Racing recommends using any good quality copper or zinc anti seize.

What y’all using on your threads?

What part are you worried about? I haven't had any issues with my direct threads or quick threads using gun lube. They both get dirty and cleaning is needed a lot more frequently than normal unsupressed guns. Once I figured this out I was good to go. non chlorinated brake cleaner will be your friend.

Just throw a little of something on there, grease or any anti seize, doesnt matter

I’ve never tried the copper, but I do like the look.

Yeah, I just noticed my Optimus is a pita to get apart after some shooting with the carbon build up, I watched their video and they recommended anti seize on the threads. The copper would probably work the best.

Yeah I tried a bunch of stuff but basically if you didn’t remove the plug immediately that night it took a force of nature to budge it. With the copper anti seize you could wait till the next day to clean it.

Well if your BP is SS. I’ve waited as long as 3 days and it came right off easily.

I need to add the mid size taper to my Optimus, shortens it to 7.5” and drops weight, on top of that, it will still handle everythingI own.

I use Loctite nuclear grade nickel based anti-seize on my suppressors. The nickle based AS is rated to a higher temperature range than copper (typically 2,400 degrees for nickle versus 1,800 for copper), and it’s a better choice for stainless steel applications.
