As I'm opening the door he says 'so you a racist then?' I looked at him and replied 'no, are you?'
No he says but you're going to get trouble with that & pointed to the confederate flag tag plate on the front of my car.
'Only idiots that don't know their history think that's a racist symbol' I said and walked into the store.
He was gone when I came out but I have to admit it made me a little nervous - the tag plate is staying though!

Durham had another "peaceful protest" saying that Trump has to go and white supremacy must go etc etc. Some even spray painted the base of the confederate memorial. I wonder if they will charge them folks? It's the same as pulling it down basically. My wife frequents Durham a bit and well, it scared me to know she had to go this afternoon, granted it is now where near downtown but still made me uncomfortable.
