Just curious. I recently bought one and i thought id ask what you guys have or shoot. I have a benjamin titan NP and i bought my step daughter a gamo big cat wisper.

@Sp guns

He sure is!

I want a Benjamin, currently just the boy's Crossman with the .17 and .22 barrels. He doesn't shoot it much since it's louder than his 22lr with the can on it. Lol

I need one or the tree rats around my place. They've crossed the line and chewed through my awning to get into my gutters (they have leaf guards on them so they can't get in from the top). They stick their head out to mock me and I consider putting a few 9mm's into them...until I remember that;s my house behind them.

I have two that I bought at least 30 years ago. No idea what they even are. Single pump rifle, and a single pump "air-17" (looks somewhat like AR15/M16).

Nothing close to some of the high-powered stuff available today. We used them for BB gun fights growing up. Amazing we're not all missing an eye.

I have to admit that my wife and I bought our 5 year old son one of the old original Red Ryder Rifle BB guns, the one with the wood furniture.

I'll be damned I forgot how much fun plinking cans and such is! My wife had to go get me one as well so now "the boys" can shoot together out back.

I have shoot probably 2k BB's since Christmas out of that thing. Bored? Crack open the back door, take half a dozen shots at cans in trees, shut door and on with my business. Sure does bring back some good childhood memories.

I do exabition shoots with a red rider. Throwing cans in the air and shooting them. I polished the trigger on it and removed the spring for a better trigger pull. My air rifles arent accurate enough for me. Im giing to try some match grade pellets to see if that helps.

I picked up a torq and have been destroying the squirrel population around my house. It also helps to keep the off season rust off my lab.
This pleases me.

I've got a Sears pump .22 air rifle that I've had since new in 1966. I think I shot it last in around 2006.

I've got a Walther LGV .177cal 10 meter that has been collecting dust for a long time. I have been thinking more and more about trading it for something I will actually play with.

Bought a Remington magnum break barrel a few years back. I think it's a rebranded Gamo or something. It sits in the closet. Worst vibration I ever felt in an air rifle, no fun at all to shoot and not very accurate either. I want a constant air gun next when I can find one I can hook my paintball tank to.

Dayum, Man! How many squirrels you got?!

I've got an old Daisy Red Ryder that I got back in 87. I use it from time to time to scare the neighbors piglets out of my garden.

Now that I'm thinking about it, I should run some paracord between tree branches and put some hooks on it to hang cans from. Sitting out on the back porch popping empty cans sounds like it could be a lot of fun!

Another Daisy 853 owner here. Picked up mine from the CMP a few years ago for offhand practice, but now it just sits in the garage

Oh yeah, air riles are pretty nice toys. :)

.177 IZH-60

.22 Walther LGV w/8x scope .

Crossman Powermaster 760, circa 1968, pump type, with rifled barrel.
Will send a BB at 1,300 FPS, .177 pellets a bit slower.
Bought it new in box at local sporting goods store for $25 and added a Tasco scope for $8.

Another Crossman 760 here. But, a friend has started playing with the high pressure air rifles in .17 .25 and .30 calibers.
They look pretty impressive. It got my curiosity up, so I started looking. I even saw one that's available as a .50 cal or a shotgun.

Suppressed Airforce Talon. Like it in concept, but it's heavy and slow vs a suppressed 22LR.

I have a dual caliber Beeman that is scary accurate with the 4X scope. I'm in process of converting it to be a Ratter and carry a night vision scope with IR illuminator and adapted to a video cam. I have no idea where I'm going to shoot all of these rats but I need to be ready if/when I get permission to set up in someone's barn. Wish me luck!!

When did this thread get resurrected? Didn't we have another thread about air rifles?

All are .177...
Diana RWS 48
Ruger Air Hawk (Which is a copy of an RWS 34)
Gamo CFX

A couple I got from members here. I really enjoy air rifles and need to shoot them more. I'm currently reconfiguring setups and am about to send the CFX for a Nitro Piston upgrade and maybe put in a trigger upgrade as well. Air rifles have a lot of potential. I'd also like to look at the big bores, .357 or better.
In the other thread, I posted a link about the air rifle Lewis and Clark had with them and the impact it had on their expedition and the US. (No pun intended.)

Here you go...

I sold my last one to a guy who had a tree rat problem. Well actually his real problem came from a neighbor's wife who complained about shotgun reports. :)

I have a benjamin something .117 /.22 it is accurate and if you put a drop of oil behind that pellet it is like shooting a 22 short and lout as fk for a pellet gun. Great fun.

Crossman .177 Phantom. Got it to stop the neighbors from bitching, but found out it's a lot of fun. I've chrono'd it at 1200 fps with alloy pellets. It's helped me make several pots of squirrel stew!
