The seams on the factory Miller canvas cover for my diesel engine welder are coming apart. The welder is approximately 2' wide, 4' tall and 6' long.

I'd like to find someone that can either resew the original one or make a new one for me based upon the original pattern (depending upon if it makes sense to repair the original). Miller no longer sells the ones to fit my 13 year old machine.

If new, I figured that a fabric such as this would be suitable:

I'm about 30 miles SW of Raleigh.

Thx.

Keys Upholstery in Sanford has done several furniture items for us and we have been happy with the results. Think he pretty much can sew anything.

Todd's upholstery is also in Sanford but I don't know of their work.

Cool, thanks.

"Marine grade solution dyed polyester canvas"... not waterproof, but plenty heavy for that application. Water resistance is likely due to a light PU coating.

If you want to send me the original, I can either repair it, or use it as a pattern, or both.

Cool. I’ve ordered some sample material and will send it to you for review when it arrives. Much appreciated.
