I'm not going to post links or anything so I hope this is ok.

I had some parts that have been listed on many gun boards for several years. Price was pretty good in my opinion. I've sold maybe 4 of them. We are planning on selling our house this year so I started the task of selling off old, unused, unwanted "stuff".

I listed those parts on Ebay on Friday and have sold 7 of them so far. Price was $10 higher than I had them listed for on the gun boards. A scope that I had listed here and on ARFCOM that has been stagnant for several months sold in two days. Postage bought through the Ebay/Paypal system is 25% off too. Pretty sweet.

I'm going take some time each Saturday and list a bunch of stuff from my parts bins and turn it into GOOOOLD!

I've bought a few gun items on EBay, including a magazine that arrived yesterday. Their policy limits magazine capacity to 10 rounds or less.

Yup eBay is decent for accessories and GB is good for selling guns/ammo. For some reason people pay top dollar there.

Yes...I sell on both Ebay and Gun Broker at times. A lot less hassle and more $'s than selling on gun forum classifieds. CFF included.

Sell stuff to cover my ham radio and firearms hobbies. Also buy stuff from ecop and red's trading.

I think that the folks whom are willing to buy at a higher price on EB are less likely to be true "gun people" and are maybe not as well versed on the current market conditions. Someone whom only gets motivated to buy when some tragedy happens is less likely to be a daily stalker of the classifieds on here, AccurateShooter, ARFCOM, etc.

I've sold a bunch of no name junk scopes that came with bolt guns as a promo or whatever and I've sold some nice scopes on there. Got good money for all and no drama. Sold an old Leupold that I wish I had back. Mistakenly thought a new one would be better.

I came into a couple hundred surplus AR Magazines a week prior to Sandy Hook. Wasn’t long after that, Magpul had shut down production and was moving to Colorado to set up a new manufacturing facility, so Magpul mags were harder to come by and people were asking $50 each for them. Listed some of my aluminum mags in lots of 10 on Gunbroker with a starting bid of $.99 and just let them run for a week. I also wouldn’t ship them to places that said they were illegal to cover my ass. Most times in a week those mag auctions were ending at $300 or better. People said i was price gouging, but how was I gouging when I started the bid at 99 cents and let them bid the price to where it went? And forget about Colt branded magazines. I had one lot of 10 of those and they brought over $400 just because they said Colt.

Simple answer-you weren't. The bidders gouged themselves.
The people that said you were gouging were just jealous that they didn't have a few hundred to list lol

I move a lot of holsters on eBay. You see the paypal % immediately. eBay charges you at the end of the month for their %.

My buddy with the LGS moves a lot of odd parts on eBay and usually at a stupid premium for what he would sell for them locally. I guess some folks don't have good stores to buy at.

As for the shipping, since you have paypal you can log onto the first page. On the left side about half way down you will see "multi order shipping." You get the same discount and can print postage for anything. First class, priority, or international.

Love Ebay! Most of my gun funds come from selling stuff I don't use or need around the house. Old fishing reels, radar detectors, old phones, chess sets, sneakers, shoes, purses and much more have been turned into gun buying gold..
You would be shocked at how much you can make from stuff like this even after PayPal and EB get their cut.
