Any run and gun rifle matches (2 gun for example) around Raleigh?

Also looking to get in to highpower/service match.. I know Butner has them. @JBoyette

Sir Walter on the 5th Saturdays

Carolina guns and gear has one this month also. 4th Saturday

Another plug for Sir Walter Gun Club - they hold monthly HP and Garand matches. Don't have anything to do with them and not a member but the matches are open to the public. I shot a Garand Clinic/Match there a couple years ago and would have shot again but hip issues prevented me from doing that. Very nice folks, willing to help out and encourage everyone to come out, a great (and safe) time. Here's a link to the website for their HP program: http://www.sirwaltergunclub.com/programs/hp.php They also have links to other clubs that also hold matches.

Again, I don't have any association with them and not a member - just had a great experience with them and hope this helps!

The guardian is coming up in September
I'll go and support the cause with donation/some products like last year. I haven't done much LR shooting. Been getting the bug to shoot iron sight (high power, CMP matches)

I always think of the RO that shoots the M1a/m14 at woody's every time I thin about wanting one. Can't shoot a sniper garand...well not comfortably.

You can donate your razor to a worthy cause. The 6mm could use some glass! LOL

It is a 3 gun competition. The shotgun is typically very short. One competition was on D Day and a guy ran a garand and a 1911. He ran out of ammo in one stage and charged the last target with his bayonet. It was pretty awesome.

Sounds like @John Z from the description. We miss his shenanigans at the pistol matches.

There is a small 2 gun match at the Burlington CCGC range 2nd Saturday every month and a Zombie 2 gun night match on the 4th Friday if I'm not mistaken. PHA has an awesome match on the 3rd Saturday but it is a haul for us and even further for you.

Thanks!! We are in the middle of adding 8 new bays just for our matches at Flatwoods in Hubert, NC (Jacksonville, NC) trust me, as soon as completed, there will be some WAY COOL matches there, featuring all shooting sports!! Since Jacksonville is home to all my Brothers still in the USMC, don't be surprised if there is an "Iwo Jima" stage, and maybe some sand bag bunkers on stages!! Please stay tuned for updates, thanks, and as always, please be SAFE while having FUN!!
