Got a question about sights.

I got one of the H&R replicas a while ago and have enjoyed shooting it when I take out some other 45/70 rifles. So far I have I only used 2 different loads in it. Both loads a straight out of the loading manual. One is a lead 405 grain Missouri Buffalo #1 in front of 13 grains of Trail Boss. It shoots around 1,000 f/s. The other is a 300 grain Meister lead bullet in front of 16.5 grains of Trail Boss. It also shoots around 1,000 f/s.

There are several variations of sights used on the Trapdoor depending on year and barrel length. Post a picture and the problem if possible.
