anybody know this brand?

If I recall, that company does ALOT of kit builds, of stuff that has historical interest. Alot of stuff other then say, AK's...

From what Ive heard, the Marcolmar CETME's are supposed to be some of the best of the breed.

For the price tag I would expect that. Okay, alright, it's a 5.56 rifle and you can get an AR for half of that but this is something more historical.

Yup, pretty much.... it is certainly different! Like a weird Spanish H&K 33 ( thats the H&K roller lock in 5.56 I believe?), the little brother to the BIG CETEME and the H&K G3.

I think the Marcolmar takes AR 15 mags? I know the orginal magazines fit in AR's, but I dont think they have bolt hold opens. Modern mags are much better made.

This company makes good looking stuff. Looks way better than HMG’s Cetme-L. My friend is getting one of the MCM Cetme L’s next week. I’ll let you know what we think of it.

Please do so!

I got to shoot the Cetme-L at the range today. I would say it feels almost exactly like an HK93. Just a little different looking and takes more common stanag magazines. I prefer the HK design over this because this one won’t let you do the “slap”. But it’s a solid rifle, good shooter. Could scratch an itch for someone that wants non-AR 5.56.
