If you are, where are you getting them? I've never bought tires online, but I'm interested in trying it out if it'll save me a penny.

I can mount and balance them myself, so having them sent to the house is fine, if that's an option.

I've got from a few places. One was a off wall site but they had the cheapest prices for my Honda Civic tires (yes I know I could use rubber bands for as thin as they are). I kept my old tires for the berm.

Usually online tire rack is best. However I have had better luck calling local shops and asking for cash and carry price also pitting them against one another usually lands me 4 tires for the price of 3.

Bought a set for my little Sonoma from tire rack 8yr ago.

Bought my most recent set of UHPA/S from TireBuyer. Beat the next best price by nearly $100 when factoring in all expenses. Best part was I ordered them at 11p, they were delivered to the shop of my choice by 930a. Less than 12hr from ordering I was rolling on my new rubber.

I have a 500$ gift card for Mickey Ts or Dick cepeks not being used.... price negotiable

I've used Discount Tire on their website for the last ten years, they don't take payment up front,
when the tires get delivered to the location you select, you get a call to schedule install.
They also fix flats at no cost no matter who made or sold the tire, that way if it is not repairable
they will sell you a new tire.

Almost forgot to mention, be sure to utilize cash back sites like ebates. I got 11% cash back on top of a $50 coupon.

I've bought tires online many times. Recently, I found I could phone my local Discount Tire store, tell them the best online deal I'd found, and they'd match it.

That’s who I use as well and if you have ever bought a tire there you can get free rotations and tire repair on tires you didn’t buy there.

My wife’s new to her car had a slow leak. I sent her to discount tire. They pulled up my account, rotated the tires and plugged the hole for free even though they didn’t sell us those tires. But I’ll buy them there when she needs a set.

When I decided to junk the 16" steel wheels on out Patriot for 17" Allow, I called a Texas guy whom I bought a bunch of stuff for my Wrangler from.
On paper it is a little shop in Texas. But she sourced and direct shipped from Discount Tire. They shipped 4 tires, mounted and balanced on the new allow rims and included a set of Gorilla locking lug nuts.
Save me on sales tax, big time. Shipping was free.

Nononono. Never buy tires - anywhere-unless you can read the date codes and make sure they are less than 3 years old. Google how to read tire makers date codes.

discount tire direct is where I bought my jeep tires/wheels from. They were about the cheapest I could find them and free shipping/

Twice I've bought tires off TireRack and had them installed. Once it was on OK experience but the last time I bought some that were on clearance (the only way it ever makes financial sense IMO) and they got real loud (passenger tires) after less than 5K miles and I had to trash them. If I had bought them locally I could have easily taken advantage of the warranty.

As many have mentioned I have used tire rack. Almost every place will price match if you have an ad for the same tire. I had a '07 G35 with the factory 19" wheels and not every place had my tires in stock. The ones that did usually had few options to choose from and tire rack had better deals in some cases.
