I was wondering if anyone has ever purchased from silincer central and could share their experience and whether they are pleased or not.

I know about them from the Dakota Silencers days. I haven’t dealt with them with their new nationwide system.

Tagging for interest... I saw they’re advertising in the NRA mag now and am curious as well.

Looks like I am 6-months late finding this thread. Did a search for "Silencer Central" and this was one of several that were shown.

Been looking into suppressors, SBRs, Form 1, Gun Trust, and NFA items since the election.

I desire to have a suppressor for both PCC (9 mm) and 5.56/.223/7.62X51. Two suppressors appear to be the way to get started with NFA tax stamp collecting. Will 3rd stamp be SBR or another suppressor is still TBD.

Silencer Central appears to have the most info in one spot and a very easy way to get started.

Well, after looking at their website, reading a lot of their info, and making email inquiries, it appears that I will now be buying two suppressors from them plus using them for setting up a trust. 6-month no interest payment plan to pay for everything with only 1st payment do at time of order sounds like a safe path.

I have done dumb things and hope that this does not move to the top of the stupid things I have done list.

Well...if we knew which two you were buying, we could tell you if it was a dumb thing or not. 😁

Let me know how it goes. It sure seems like the easy way to get your feet wet even if it's not the cheapest.

Why not buy from a local top tier vendor? @TARHEELSTATE
I was thinking the shop in Mathews (Tarheelstate) is closer to me and was thinking about going there. I liked the idea of having a trust set up for ownership and it is hard to beat the price of FREE. Free financing for 4 months is normal but I was offered 6 months financing free with two suppressors plus the free trust. Money is coming out of my Money Market account so instead of one large withdraw, I will make 5 smaller withdraws. Once the Trust is setup, I will be free to go where ever the price is best. When price is the same, I tend to use local business to keep the money local.

I’d be more concerned about their selection. (Unless they remove items that are OOS, so they’re currently out of most options). They’re pushing their house brand (formerly Dakota Silencer) and the lineup from Coastal.

Personally, the “free” trust goes out the window when you sink $2000 into two cans from a brand no one has ever heard of. Especially when some of the best made, best warrantied, proven performance 30cal and PCC suppressors (DA, Rugged, Rex) can be had for much less money through Silencershop which charges $25 for a trust and is idiot-proof.
