over the last couple of weeks I’ve been waking up with symptoms of trigger finger. Oddly enough it’s on my right hand trigger finger. Any home Remedies? It’s not complete locked up but if the mornings it “pops” when I try to straighten it. Now I’m wondering if I need to stray shooting with my middle finger to stop the repetition?

Had it in all but two of my fingers. Have had shots in all of them, no home remedies. Shots make you cry for your mama but it will get to the point where you tough it out and take the shot pain. If the finger gets locked up the doc will go in and snip the tendon. Getting ready to get another shot in my right trigger finger. I do have some arthritis but can't do anything about that.

I have that issue with my left thumb occasionally. It comes and goes with no rhyme or reason. From what I've read, you can get surgery for temporary relief, but it can come back even after surgery.

Get a bracelet made of hemotite stones. I have severe arthritis in my right hand. The bracelet helps me. YMMV but it won't cost you much to find out and it won't hurt of it doesn't help.

There used to be a guy that sold them at the gun shows but I haven't seen him lately. You can order them on line.

I first started using one when the arthritis doc told me I have it in almost every joint in my body and put me on naproxine. First visit back to him he had lab work done and when I asked why he said the stuff he put me on will mess up you liver and kidneys so I quit taking it. Some one told me about the bracelets so I gave it a try. It seems to work for me or it could all be in my head but I can use the hand better when I wear one all the time so I go with it.

Have it in left thumb and right shooting finger. As stated shots help some but will make you pee your pants. At different times I have had shoulder, knee, back and foot injected THE HAND WAS PROBABLY WORSE THAN IF ALL THE PREVIOUS WERE DONE AT ONE TIME. I wear a splint at night for the thumb and can say it helps some. Try splinting your finger at night and when you can during the day. If you go to a doc ; find one who specializes in hands.

Nope, wait until you get plantar fasciitis and have to have 3 shots in the sole of your foot. 1 in the heel, 1 dead middle of the instep and one right up against the ball of the foot. I knew the nurse pretty well. She said these shots are going to hurt like hell and there is nothing I can do to make them feel better. She handed me a towel to bite on and told me to grab hold of the stretcher rails. I kinda puckered real big on the one in the heel. The one in the ball of the foot made me wish for my momma, but the one in the instep almost made me pass out. I can tolerate a lot of pain but damn. When she got through I was soaking wet with sweat and I could hardly let go of the rails. I swear I left finger prints in the chrome. She made me sit up on the side of the bed for a few minutes before I got up so I wouldn't pass out. I got up, put my shoe on and looked at the rails on the stretcher. This is no lie, I bent both rails of the stretcher.

However, my last kidney stone put all the shots in my hands and my foot being done at one time to shame.

This is important. A normal general orthopedist may think they handle this, but don't let them. The shots and surgeries that may end up being the solution can be simple and effective, but screw-ups can be irreversible. I have triggers in my ring-finger and left thumb. Oval-8 splints at night is what I use for now.

What he ^^^^^ said. Bone docs specialize now. Get a hand specialist. A good one will x-ray the hand and look for arthritis as well as any other anomalies. They've got to know exactly where to stick the needle. Here is a thought, since a lot of us need shots maybe I can work a deal with my doc where we line up outside the office and get some heavy discounts.
