Anyone have experience with Vortex CCW red dots?

The first couple reviews I saw for them shortly after they were released last year were underwhelming. At least the new ones have shake awake but I think Holosun is the better way to go.
Yeah I would prefer the holosun as well. But I can get a new CCW for 150.00 So I'm debating it.

I can't speak for the vortex, but I am happy with my Primary Arms classic red dot for that same price tag.
Although you can find a used holosun 407/507k for around $200 or less pop up on here.

Where? I also recommend going with the more proven holosun especially for carry, but for that price, I’d be willing to buy one and start testing it. I am kind of a collector of different pistol optics.

Not sure which I want to put it on yet. I have a romeo zero on my xl so I'm thinking of the 320 which I would probably go a different route.
The Romeo Zero was my first red dot and I wasn’t a big fan. I would highly recommend trying the Riton MPRD2 to replace it. It’s an aluminum housing, auto brightness (works great!), and the dot is crisper to my eyes than the Romeo. Oh did I mention they’re usually on sale for $80? Pretty sure there’s a recent deals thread post.
I have a few of them and have used them on a 12ga, shield 9mm, and 22/45.

Botach.com once you log in as gov/military/leo it gives you the correct pricing.

Got one on the way, I’ll let yall know how it is.

I’ve been looking at them too, but they’re not shake awake, at least the ones I’ve seen so far, so it’s a no for me.
The Viper and Venom do not but the newer Defenders do. I believe OP is talking about the Defender CCW.

2nd item listed under features

Yep I have the Defender CCW with 6 MOA on a dbl stk Shield. Its G2G. Have not used it extensively but I was surprised at how well everything works and how much I like it.
