Not sure if this is where to post this but....
The third of the Willam Forstchen series is out. There was "One Second After", then "One Year After". I read both.
I recently learned that a third book "The Final Day" had been published.

Just curious if anyone has read that one yet?

Yup. I read it a couple months back. Does a decent job of wrapping things up, but is not nearly as engaging as the first one.
Same here and agree completely. Good read, but was the page turner like some of his other work.

Got it on release day and read it. Forstchen is a good writer and realistic. I agree with both posters above that it's a good book and wraps things up nicely.

My sentiments as well. All three were fantastic, eye opening books.

I'm hoping somebody will make it into a film and not butcher it.

There is the CFF boo club thread where some of us have passed it around. Last I knew @Jeffncs had it, but he may have passed it on to the next guy.

Good book, I do recommend it.

I'm on the last 100 pages and will finish it up this week. I'll try to find the original thread and link it here.

I'll pass it along to the next person on that line.

I'm 2/3rds through it. Its good but it's more of a novel now that a treatise on being prepared.

I read it a month or so ag0. Like others have said, it's a pretty good read and wraps things up pretty well, but I found it less realistic and believable then the other two books. I'd recommend it if you enjoyed the first two books, though.

Both loved and hated that book at the same time. It's playbook for the next event.

Couldn't agree more unfortunately. @wsfiredude turned me onto the author and series and I am so glad he did. I actually read Day of Wrath last year in the car line every day waiting for my son to get out of kindergarten. Struck a deep nerve that I will not forget.

I agree, he was just looking for a way to close it and move on!
