what's the shortest you load them

My cases are right about 1.36 and I was thinking about putting them on top of 18gn of h110

I haven't seen much data but I want to seat them to about 1.85.

Anyone thin that would be a bad idea?

I seat 300blk based on the ogive relation to the "bump" in the magazine.
Otherwise, feeding is an issue.
(Assuming your shooting a gas gun)

Yeah it's an ar. The 110s just aren't seating proper at longer lengths. Even with a good crimp they are wiggling a little

I make my own but I haven't annealed them
Yea, that's probably why some are loose and it's a big part of why people have accuracy issues with the caliber I think. I'd recommend annealing before final sizing for sure. That part of a 223 case just isn't properly annealed to provide consistent neck tension

K thanks I'll look up how to do them

when I try to load the 110gn JRNs to 2.04 they are barely seated.

I know its really a 30 cal bullet, I bought them as a cheap practice plinker, knowing the accuracy would be ok out to 25/50 yards.

most of what I shoot is 200gn, think I would be ok no annealing? the 200gn are really accurate without annealing.

Annealing is done to extend the life of the case (neck) or in the case of converted 556 brass, give that portion of the brass some elastic properties.

Honestly, I don't think annealing will effect your accuracy in a measureable amount. Try it and see.

If you seat the 110gr JRN deeper, does it not feed? Why are you set on 2.04 COAL?
it is a RN bullet, which will be shorter by design, compared to a spitzer.
Are you stuck on 2.04 OAL because your concerned with compressing the powder?

I have not had a chance to shoot them, I am worried about feeding, I loaded 5 up and was planning on shooting them this weekend

i didn't want to load up so many and realize they don't feed then have to pull them.

I tried to load some 110 but it was worse than wiggle for the length I was using- I could bullet pull with fingers. I gave up. Rule of thumb- not sure how required it is, is that the bullet should seat one diameter into the case, which would be 7.62mm.

i shot the 110s yesterday, they loaded fine, no jams. cant say that for my 203gn loads.

has anyone tried those magpul 300blk mags? do they work better?

I loaded another mags worth. I really like this load. 18.5gn of h110.

When I run out of these round I'm definitely going to get the spitzer style.
