I've got everything to reload, including consumables, but have been putting it off forever.
I will basically just be reloading for my 30.06, at least initially. I'm not really ready for a
dedicated room or bench for reloading. Instead I'd like to build a setup that I could move from
room to room if I wanted.

Anyone using such a setup? Pros/Cons

I used to use a cheap computer cart when I started. It worked for a short while.

Some guys use something like a Workmate folding workbench. You can also attach the press to a 2x8 board that is C-clamped to a table.

I have and old wooden shooter's box with block of wood screwed to it. My single stage is attached and everything I need is stored inside. It's good for sitting in front of the TV doing low volume stuff like my Blackout loads. I wouldn't want to try a progressive like that though. For rifle it's perfect though.

I started out with the C clamp set up and still have it for when I'm doing load development at the range. Easy to go back behind the line at my range, break out the old school stuff and make a couple more rounds for testing.

I've got a lee hand press with scales, powder measure, dies in a small tool box. There is also room in the box for supplies for up to three calibers. I take it out to the range for load testing. Every thing can be set up in the back seat, not fast ( about an hour for 50 rounds once set up). Hope this helps lost...

I've seen rigs similar to this one:

Looks like legs from a folding table and half of a salvaged door for the bench. It would transport well and could do double duty at home and at the range.

I started with a Lee Hand Press too. After about a thousand rounds your hands will be sore. I use a single stage press now and the stand to mount it on. It’s portable from room to room if need be but sturdy enough to actually work.

I made me a jig that bolts to my table in my gun room. It has 5 bolts with wing nuts that I can remove and free the space up. I used about 16" of 2x6 and a 12"x12" piece of 3/4" plywood for the base of it. Works nice and stores away easy.

Do these count ? Top left is 30 - ' 06 , top right is 12 gauge bottom is 6.5 x 55. I've used the 12-gauge to reload some Aguil20200515_135520.jpg a short shells but not either of the rifles. The 6.5 is kind of cool cuz it's got micrometer adjustments for bullet seating depth. Maybe one of these days I'll get around to using it.
