Anyway to get rid of this gap from my AFG2 to my rail?

Keymod handguard... I put the rail on, which sits flat againt the handguard... but then leaves a gap for the AFG2.... Its ugly.

Anyway to make the AFG where it mounts closer to the HG?

I cannot. It’s a byproduct of photobucket and all that BS. Ps.. Man that is an old thread.

In today’s market I’d just search for a MLOK angled grip. I’ll also test arisaka’s Low pro picatinny adapter and post some cell phone pics.

Im thinking, I can drill holes in the AFG its self and use the keymod mounting stuff, and make it mount flush with no rail

Sorry overlooked the rail. Plenty of keymod afg’s as well. Problem may be the length of the keymod screws. You can find longer ones though. Give it a shot.

Ps: pic as mentioned. Arisaka Low Profile Picatinny adapter as Magpul afg.

At this point, short of buying a keymod AFG, I might get a longer rail section to put under the AFG to visually fill the gap and save the rail section you have for a light mount or other accessory.

I ran into a similar issue with my kids and was able to add another rail section and mount the AFG to both, pretty cheesy but it worked for us.

I just rigged it up until I buy a keymod afg.

Messed up one hole alignment and had to drill extra hole.. but I went and got longer screws, drilled holes in the afg and mounted it directly to the rail.
