Appendix carry, who does it?

I am a BIG guy. I carry IWB with Cook's Kydex holsters. Love them.

Never figured out why someone would want to appendix carry. Even for a slender person, it looks
very uncomfortable. And somewhat dangerous to something... :(
 
Appendix IWB is the only way I carry.

It’s not any more dangerous than carrying 4:00 and much more comfortable for me. Plus I don’t have to undo my belt to put my holster on. I can draw easily inside a vehicle.

I’ve carried appendix for at least 5 years now and still have an intact penis. :D

He made some good points.
But it wouldn't work for me.
I carry at 4:00, everyday, in and out of vehicles, comfortably.
Everyone needs to figure out what works for them, and go with it.
 
I always pocket carry or in cool weather OWB covering with a jacket. I’ve stayed away from IWB because I dont wear an undershirt and think IWB would not feel confertable without one and I would sweat up the holster, then I would be known as stinky.
 
As a very petite female, I almost always carry AIWB with this lady friendly rig.

Unfortunately, girls have to think more about lifestyle and wardrobe to find the best option. Optimally, you should choose one and stick with it but, that is not always easy for us. I have a few other options depending on situation. However, I must continue to practice and train constantly with each to be prepared if and when I may be required to access and deploy a weapon to defend myself.
 
I’ve tried appendix carry, but it either makes me look “happy to see you” or creates a very unnatural bulge in my waist line. I don’t have full onset of Dunlop Disease, but I guess I have enough of a gut to make it not work! I also believe it has everything to do with your physiology—i.e. where your body will allow you to carry without looking like this guy:

I carry a G26 or a G19 AIWB. I have been through a bunch of holsters. Some better than others at comfort or concealment. This is the first holster I've found that has both comfort and concealment in spades. T-Rex Sidecar. I think I bought it from a member here. It replaced a sidecar style holster I had from a different maker that worked well but not nearly a well as this one. Not all holsters are created equal even if they are the same style.

I love that option! Looks very discreet, and would hold some extra "me" in, for sure! Now I have to get a bit thinner, and maybe it would work. Since I hate belts, and my waistbands tend to be saggy this might be worth checking out. Thanks!

I carry gen 4 Glock 22 and 19 iwb without a t shirt and it is fine. Get a kydex holster and it won't get stinky.
 
I'll have to get one ordered. I'm constantly having to choose from one side or the other on the belt loop, and I need it right over top. Thanks for posting that.

Not exactly. Fixed blade knives are somewhat verboten by statute (the statute is old enough that it refers to dirks and daggers....). That statute has been reinforced by what case law exists on the subject. It's one of those things though that carries a low risk of being prosecuted unless you're doing stupid stuff already, then it becomes an add on charge.
