Starting next week, Project Appleseed is hosting a Rifleman's Boot Camp at the RWVA Home Range in Ramseur, NC (near Ashboro). It is a weeklong event, running from Sunday Oct 15 through Friday Oct 20th. It will cover everything that's normally in an Appleseed Weekend, only more in-depth, with more time dedicated to skills like range estimation using iron sights or scope, known distance skills (out to 500 yards), learning and understanding your rifles DOPE and come-ups, etc.
Camping is available on site - so in addition to 5 days worth of shooting, you get the camaraderie of spending time together with your fellow Americans.
We're in a vacation blackout at work for the moment- otherwise I'd be there. I plan to attend the RBC in the spring.

For those not able to attend the full week, a regular Appleseed Weekend follows the RBC in Ramseur on Saturday, October 21st through Sunday, October 22nd.
