AR pistol traveling to FL any issues?

Just what the title says, curious if I should have any issues bringing my AR pistol 10.5" with me on a road trip to FL. Just wouldn't mind having it in the car as a companion I will be ringing my handguns as I know we have reciprocity, just not sure if any specific issues with the AR type pistol.

Correct, you can have it in your vehicle but by the SC statutes it may not be loaded and concealed within your reach. Now would the average SC LEO bust you for it ... I don’t think so just a warning and tell you to unload it and put it in the back BUT I wouldn’t bet on not finding that 1 a-hole that will screw you.

Seems odd that a less concealable gun has more restrictions than a more concealable gun.
