So it's a 10.5 with pinned 5.6" FH?
 
Either the barrel is a tic over 10.5, or the FH is a tic over, I forgot which. It measures 16-1/4" from bolt face to end of FH. I sent a barrel and the FH to Arizona Response Systems to be cut down, permanently attached, and the finish applied to the entire rifle about 15-18 yrs ago.

built a frankengun out of the internet parts bin and it turned out okay. It weighs less than every other AR rifle I have owned.


Alpha shooting sports upper and BCG
Cobratac gen3 tactical mlok rail
Faxon gunner 18" 1-8 NATO barrel
Faxon .625 gas block & rifle length gas
Colt A2 birdcage
Anderson AM15 stripped lower

I'm certain there are likely better options out there, but from what I've had experience with, these will do fine... ;)

Just going to add a few Geissele parts on the MR556. The MR762 (G28 clone) has the Geissele charging handle and trigger. Both of my long distance guns run Spuhr ISMS. The rest of the parts on them are all original HK parts, some of which will hurt your wallet.
 
Yea I knew it was the glory days 5 months ago when I got a 6920 OEM 1 for $609 shipped. Should have bought 10 of them.
 
I thought it looked like thr Faxon gunner barrel. Anyhow nice to see what the epsilon looks like on that profile. Nice rifle btw

Thanks. It is indeed a 14.5" midlength Faxon Gunner. I have a Ti version of the Epsilon coming for it, too.

I'm disappointed to hear you say that you ordered a knock off when they damn real ones are only $60! Did you just get the TI so it changes purdy colours once you heat er up real hawt???
 
That knockoff looks as legit as the real one, minus the Aero/VG6 laser engraving. In fact....I just ordered one :D

I figured I badly needed to shave 1/4 oz from the muzzle. Pretty sure this is going to propel my game forward by quite a lot.

But seriously, the titanium ones were not 60 and now they don't exist, so meh, try it at least.

I got the original real one for like 42$ on sale.
 
My first AR-15 in 5.56 put a new compensator on it that’s it so far.

didnt even shoot it .. just got it out to look at the new steel we hung... we've but up about 6 more sense you was up... get the video i sent you ??

Just got that Ti one in mail. I'm kinda shocked by the quality of the machining. And it came with a jam nut, and two crush washers, one black and one stainless. If it doesn't do anything funky to my groups I will consider it a fantastic deal. I'll post when I get a chance to try it.

@Ikarus1 you get yours yet?
