What magazine is that?

It’s sad that I like it just for looks. :)

They’re actually pretty useful, too, as you can see the rounds in them. I’ve had good performance from them.

Reactions: Me.
Did you buy it as a builders kit? Or did you have it coated locally? Awesome little gun.

My 10.5" was just a tad too short so this was the rebuild. Aero lower, BCM upper, MI rail.
Unfortunately this one is rattle can and will chip and flake in short time.
I am setting up to hopefully do some personal cerakote in the future.

Wow good job on the rattle cans. It will just become.... battleworn!

Got a chance to adjust gas and shoot this guy, and get slightly better pics. Very light and fun. I like the Lil P optic.
Gonna enjoy shooting this.
If you're tactical, don't be triggered by magwell. It can be quickly removed for when you go to battle or yer war-fighting or duty or boogalu-corona-shtf. I promise it won't get you keeled in the real world two way range.

Had both of these done for a bit & finally got a few pics.

My SHTF/grab one long gun & run 5.56. Took advantage of that crazy low pricing we enjoyed for a while & snagged a couple of PSA "Minute Man" lowers, along with complete Troy SOCC upper- p/w 14.5", mid gas, 13" rail & their Battlesights. Figured if it was gonna be a "serious" gun, it needed "serious" optics & it kinda snowballed from there. Couldn't put that Steiner in a cheap mount, so I sprang for the ADM Recon X mount. 'Course then I had to have a Geissele SSP trigger. At that point I figured no sense cheaping out with my usual Magpul MOE furniture & ended up with a B5 Systems stock & BCM furniture & BCM charging handle while I was at it.

Stamp for my Dead Air Armament Sandman-K came in, so the .300BLK got re-barreled with an 8" BA 1/7 barrel & a Superlative Arms adjustable gas block (big thank you to @rantingredneck for doing the re-barrel for me). Upper was originally one of those 10.5" DSG/Seekins "Black Friday" uppers from a few years ago on a poverty pony lower engraved by a former forum member. I know this won't be super quiet, but is supposed to be hearing safe with subs & my intent with this is a handy "bump in the night" gun that won't kill my ears in the event I ever had to use it.

Have not gotten either to the range since finishing them up, but looking to rectify that in a week or two.

I bought one of those surplus M16A1 parts kits a few years back, but put it on the back burner. I'd bought a replacement barrel and reproduction lower, but just never got around to putting it together. But with this Covid19 nonsense, I finally had time and got it together:

I had to "distress" the new lower, because it was gonna look like crap with the old, worn GI/Colt parts on a lower with a brand new finish. A screwdriver, a green Scotch Brite pad and some elbow grease, and it looks much better:

I took it to the range, and it is one of my current favorite rifles:

Got it zeroed at 50 yards and it is spot on at 200 yards. It is amazing how light it is and how little recoil it has. It is just fun to shoot. And the repro barrel is pretty darn accurate. Last weekend, we were smoking a 5x7 plate at 300 yards consistently with cheap Wolf ammo and iron sights. I find myself tinkering with it whenever I get bored.

The old 6.5 Grendel budget match rifle. I built this one back in the day using a Thordsen ban compliant stock, because I'd generally always shot old WW1 and 2 military rifles and actually preferred the feel of a more traditional "wrist" over the pistol grip. Now, with more experience, I find I like the pistol grip better. But I still like the oddball look of this rifle. And it is still pretty accurate out to 1000.
