Details? I need to know where I can throw more money at my next one. Going to get a 16" for PCC/steel challenge. Don't want to hassle with sbr my 8".

Man, we were just shooting it at DPRC yesterday after work!
I am sure Slacker will answer any detail question on it. PM him. He's had it in several interations over the years, so I think he has a really good handle on what works and what breaks. His is an SBR, but he shoots it in matches with the blast can.
Nothing wrong with 16" tho. Probably what I would do.

We'll also both be at the carbine match at SWGC this weekend.

IMG_0193.JPG Here is my newly finished 22 Nosler build. It's got an ARP 20" melonite barrel, Aero upper, Toolcraft NIB BCG, UTG Pro Slim 13" handguard, SLR Sentry adjustable gas block, and Minox ZV3 4.5-14x44 scope with Redfield mount.

Lower is an Eagle Arms with Rock River NM trigger, JP yellow springs, and EFX rifle length stock. I've fired it in the back yard for function, but haven't had a chance to shoot for groups yet.

The experiment.... A Tennessee arms polymer lower. I have 2 of the ATI polymer lowers and they are great. Have been very strong and easy to work with. This one seems to been made of a different polymer and the finishing is not great. We will see.... ;)

Maybe it will work great, but what I see in the photo just does not give me the warm fuzzies.

looks like you might want to take a fine files and smooth out those rough holes and edges

Yup. Definitely not on the same level as the ATI. The ATI has a nice thickness and has small screws that act as antiwalk for the trigger pins.

Definitely rough. We will see. Ordered the small parts I need to put it together. This will be my junkyard dog build. Using mostly used parts I have around.

Anyone got a upper they want to get rid of cheap? ;)
 
As cheap as stripped lowers are right now, I just can't see doing anything with the poly shit. Just scares me.

Check out a Griffin Armament 30SD if you want to keep your A2 flash hider.

Or a Recce 7 if you want to swap them out.

Hornady black 123 grain ELD match ammo - people have been saying good things and I was very happy with it this weekend. I have been buying it from targetsportsusa.com - free shipping on 200 rounds and cheapest prices I have seen.

I got the Alexander Arms mags and have been happy with them.
